Alex
This year, I'm combining my love of cycling with the chance to support the work of the Alina Foundation, a charity which provides essential care and services for the terminally ill in Poland. Thirteen people and I will be cycling 1,000 km across Poland via hospices to see for ourselves how the money will be spent.
Earlier this year I met Ewa who introduced me to the charity founded by her family. It particularly struck a chord with me as I recalled when my own grandmother passed away from a terminal illness when I was younger. I'm aiming to raise £1,000, and it would really mean a lot to me if you could donate. Any amount you can donate, be it £5, £20 or more is worthwhile. All the costs of the ride are paid for by the cyclists, so every penny you can donate goes directly to the charity. To sponsor me, click on the donate button below. Thank you. |
