Pszczyna
The Father Pio hospice in Pszczyna supports terminally ill children and adults, people with disabilities, the elderly, and their families.
It provides free loans of equiment including beds, oxygen concentrators, anti-bedsore mattresses; helps fund medicines, physiotherapy and treatment; supports and advises patients and their families; arranges workshops and events for families; raises funds for medical care and equipment; and supports bereaved families. Since 2015 they have been building a day hospice and dedicated base for their staff. The first stage of the project opened its doors in 2022.
