Wiśniowa

The hospice association in Wisniowa supports terminally ill children and adults, people with disabilities, the elderly, and their families. 

It provides free loans of equiment including beds, oxygen concentrators, anti-bedsore mattresses; helps fund medicines, physiotherapy and treatment; supports and advises patients and their families; arranges workshops and events for families; raises funds for medical care and equipment; and supports bereaved families. 

To date, the Alina Foundation and Cycle Poland have provided:

• in 2014, a financial contribution towards a replacement ambulance, after the previous vehicle was damaged in a flood;
• in 2016, two oxygen concentrators and seven blood pressure meters
• in 2017, three blood pressure monitors and two oxygen concentrators
  
• in 2019, two oxygen concentrators and a suction catheter
