Over the last years I have supported many causes for many charities whilst cycling across the UK and France, but none has ever taken me so far east into Europe. In many ways the journey will be a remarkable challenge as I will be entering new territory on so many grounds.

For me the 9 days in the saddle for the Alina Foundation represent the only accomplishment which truly reflects the journey of many of the Foundation’s patients and their families. We all walk on mountainous paths, sometimes empty and fairly quiet roads, looking ahead whilst living every day with dignity, though not really knowing what tomorrow will bring.

Even though every kilometre may actually feel quite different when I will be cycling along the many roads of Poland…it is truly my pleasure to sing up to this challenge…Please be generous for a great cause!
