A group of volunteers in Bartoszyce, including a doctor, nurses, psychologist, physiotherapist and volunteers supports people cared for in their homes.

The hospice team provides pain management and  medical treatment to alleviate other symptoms of terminal illness. They also train and support families and carers.

The Foundation has provided an oxygen concentrator and a pneumatic wheelchair cushion.

"When I told him that we could get a cushion for his wheelchair I saw so much gratitude in the patient's eyes that I wish I could have taken a photograph to show you"
