December 2010: Thanks to the hard work of our Cycle Poland 2010 cyclists we have just bought a brand new exercise and rehabilitation suite for the Elblag hospice!

One of the first in Poland, in its 20 years the hospice has cared for the young and the old, the rich and the poor. As well as terminally ill patients, the hospice also looks after those with serious disabilities whose families cannot cope.

The hospice currently looks after around 65 people at any one time. 

As well as the exercise suite the Foundation has provided two pneumatic mattresses, sets of dressings, and training sessions for volunteers.
