Just like Team GB the Alina Foundation made us feel very proud this summer when we reached a total of £50,000 raised for Polish hospices. Our trustees meet all administrative costs so every penny that you donated has been used to provide vital equipment to help children like Dominika, who we introduce below.
Thank you for your support—we couldn’t have done all this without you.

Cycle Poland meets Dominika and raises £15,000
19 cyclists completed this year’s 1000km ride across the Polish mountains, raising £15,000.
They were greeted by brass bands and dancing girls, and met patients like Dominka, 12, who uses one of the beds provided by the Foundation. We hope that by the time we visit next year her dream of going back to school will come true.
Take a look at our blog for lots of photos and stories from the ride.

Cycle Poland 2013: 13—21 July
Inspired by Bradley Wiggins and co? Take on the challenge and cycle 1000km to support Polish hospices
Our fourth annual ride will cross the whole country, taking in historic Krakow, rural villages and the beautiful Baltic coast. The ride is fully supported and there is no minimum sponsorship amount.
Certainly the most worthwhile and enjoyable adventure I’ve had for a long time, if not ever! - Sam G
