Our work wouldn't happen without the fundraising efforts of all our volunteers. You can join our annual bike ride across Poland or come up with your own way of raising funds. We are always keen to hear your suggestions - so if you have a bright idea, just email us and we'll help you make it happen. Cake Sale at Beaconsfield High School

Windsor half marathon

This year, 10NLG's form charities are The Alina Holender Trust and the National Autistic Society.

Not many of us are capable of running a half marathon, so instead we held a cake sale as our class fundraiser.

It was held on Friday 20th November, and the whole class brought in cakes to sell, even Mr Gough.

Loads of people came to buy cakes and support our charities. The cakes proved very popular, and sold out within half an hour!

Altogether, we raised a grand total of £187.44, with half going to each charity. 

Thank you to everyone in 10NLG who gave up their time to run the sale, and to everyone at Beaconsfield High who bought our cakes.

As our first fundraiser I ran the Windsor Half Marathon on 27 September 2009.

It took 13 miles, 1 hour 54 minutes, two very sore knees and 64 songs on the ipod playlist, but I did it.
