CYCLE EUROPE 2019
22 cyclists rode 1040 km to raise £20,000 for Polish hospices
Our tenth annual ride started in the bustling Austrian capital Vienna and meandered along the Danube into Hungary, through Slovakia, and over the Tatras into Poland. Having conquered a heatwave, mountains and over a thousand kilometres, the riders finished in Krakow at a party with the Alma Spei children's hospice.
Along the way we visited 6 hospices and delivered vital medical equipment: beds, mattresses, medicines and more. The ride raised an incredible £20,000 and several additional hospices received new equipment after the ride. Congratulations to all our cyclists for their amazing achievement, and huge thanks to everyone who supported us - we couldn't have done it without you. It is still not too late to help us support the work of Polish hospices by making a donation below. We pay all the Foundation's costs including the costs of the ride, so donations go directly to supporting patients and their families. If you would be interested in taking part in the fantastic adventure that will be Cycle Poland 2020 please email us. We will let you know more details as soon as possible. |
